Biography of Messi - Lionel Messi who was born on Jun, 24th 1987 in Rosario, Argentina, is an Argentine soccer (football) player playing in La Liga for FC Barcelona and Argentina national team captain. Messi started to play football in Newell`s Old Boys, one of the football clubs in his hometown when he was 8 years old. Messi made his first team debut in a friendly match with Porto that marked the opening of the new Dragao stadium when he was still only 16, and on October, 16th 2004, he made his first appearance in official match when Barcelona win against Espanyol in Barcelona`s derby at the Olympic Stadium (0-1). In June 2004, Messi played for Argentina in an under-20 friendly match against Paraguay, In 2005, he was part of Argentina national team that won the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship in the Netherlands, and on August, 17th 2005 when he was 18 years old, he made his full international career.Backstreet Boys are a Grammy-nominated American pop vocal group.
